Is the Almay Intense I-Care collection a good brand of makeup?

I was looking into getting the set for bringing out the blue in my eyes, and I was wondering if it is a good idea? Is the makeup good for what it says (intensifying eye color)? Is Almay a smart brand to choose as far as price and quality? If not, what brands can you recommend-keeping in mind that I am on a budget.

Also, what are some good brands of tinted moisturizer that will not clog my pores. I have somewhat oily and acne prone skin, and I don't want any makeup to interfere.

Please do not recommend Bare Minerals makeup. I have used it before I and I disliked it.Is the Almay Intense I-Care collection a good brand of makeup?
yeah, i like it. my fave moisturizer is made by clinique.

  • Almay and L'oreal. Which is the best makeup for Acne?

    Please help

I am a senior in high school and I just graduated mid-term and I still did not take my senior pictures, because of my Acne

I need to cover my scars up so that I can look really pretty and I have had Acne since middle school.

I have been to a dermatologist and he made my skin WORSE, but my mom is trying to find me another dermatologist to help my Acne.

I have Oily skin, Pimples, and Scarring.

My skin is clearing up and I am using the Clean %26amp; Clear Kit.

I just need something to cover up the scars that I have, and I think that my Acne is causing me not to have a job.

If you have any makeup tips or some more makeup lines, please feel free to tell me those too.

Just please pray for me!Almay and L'oreal. Which is the best makeup for Acne?
i think almay is better for acne but id personally try neutrogena it is the best for acne all there products are light and oil free but they still cover and are all formulated specifically for acne.Almay and L'oreal. Which is the best makeup for Acne?
I have really bad skin as well.....mine also gets very oily.

if your skin isn't at much of a risk of drying out [in other words its oily all the time], try Cargo liquid foundation from Sephora [its a little expensive but TRUST me, it works]. It will not clog your pores and doesn't look like a mask. Then on top of the foundation put ID mineral essentials powder [mineral veil]. It is also from Sephora and is recommended for those who have acne and oily skin, because it is actually proven to help clear up acne and helps control the oil. Its also translucent which looks nice because you can't even tell its there! It just makes your face look perfect and as though there isn't anything there :)

I really hope these suggestions work :-] I know what you are going through and these work WONDERFULLY!
Neither! Try a mineral make up. Something in what you are using now is your problem. Look on ebay. You can find a set of what you need for around $20. Use witch hazel and shampoo your hair with teatree oil shampoo. Teatree oil is a natural antifungral. Good Luck
i use neutrogena and it works pretty well for me. but i would see a detmetologist if i were you or try proactiv.

    i hope this helps!
aawwwhh, that was the sadest post I've read in a while.

It made my heart want to share the well best kept secret with you! Im a skincare and makeup junkie..seriously.

Please tell your mom to go to the Illuminare makeup website.

Order the $10.00 sample kit. In order for this to work as well as it should, you should really order their 'flocked sponge'; to apply it. It the miracle I believe that you're looking for.

I promise you a GREAT result. Good luck, and I will pray for you!!
You want something thick that will cover your acne and last all day. I like shiseido ';the makeup'; and stila stick concealer. Of course finish with pressed powder.

No matter what brand you go with, get a cream/powder foundation as opposed to a liquid one that will just run.
i have oily/combo skin with scarring and pimples too.

i used to use almay clear complexion for oily skin and it covers good (i put alot on tho... but it just caked a bit)...now im using cliniques superfit makeup but doesnt cover that good.
I love almay. I have the same problem as you! Almay makeup is really good, it really covers the acne and doesn't make your skin look all cakey.

    I recommend it :)
physicians formula mineral loose powder soaks up unwanted oil. use one of their concealers on your blemishes and scaring. it lasts all day and has great coverage. its made for sensitive and acne prone skin so anyone can wear it. it also helps your blemishes.

Is this what you want?Looking for a discontinued Almay product called Time Off Age Smoothing Makeup - color - Natural Beige.?
Ebay or google it. I had to that for Clean and Clear shine-free powder
Look on ebay they have about anything you could want.
If you can't find the product you use to use please go to www.wonderful.myarbonne.com and check out their About Face makeup line. Their products are pure, safe and beneficial. They have no animal by-products in them and never tested on animals. If you want to know what goes into OTC makeups and lotions than google ';rending plants'; to see. If you sign my guestbook and state what age group you are in I will send you a free sample of face cleanser.

Does anyone know any good makeup brands? Besides; MAC, Covergirl and Almay?

I am in love with make-up. These are all amazing make-up brands:

Urban Decay, Bare Escentuals, E.L.F., Smashbox, Pop Beauty, Hard Candy, Wet n Wild, Almay, NYC, Stila, Too Faced, Tarte, Victoria Secret, and so many more...

If you want to see a wide variety go to sephora, it is amazing!Does anyone know any good makeup brands? Besides; MAC, Covergirl and Almay?
I hate all of those brands that you mentioned. My idea for what makeup should be is flawless, healthy and as natural or dramatic as you like. Here are my top suggestions.

    Drugstore: Neutrogena, Burt's Bees

Sephora/Department Store: Make Up For Ever, Benefit, Urban Decay, Laura Geller, Dior, Nars, Chanel, Philosophy, Sugar.Does anyone know any good makeup brands? Besides; MAC, Covergirl and Almay?
There's not one company that has all great products that work for everyone. That's why most makeup artists pick here and there for the best products. www.makeupalley.com

May help you... they list the most popular and that also probably means people use those the most over and over again. Just go there and look up what you want.. like mascara. It will show the most popular choices. New products are always reviewed too.
MAX Factor, Bare Minerals, Maybelline, Clinque, Chanel, Revlon, Sugar
    The best is Bee Luscious

Next I would say Dior or Chanel.

I don't like MAC way too heavy. I also have not found any drugstore brand I like.
mark cosmetics it a company avon created with reasonable prices and the colors are awesome.

How do you feel about the new Almay Pure Blends natural makeup?

I've been thinking of going organic/green with my makeup, u know... helping out the earth and stuff.

i saw an add for Almay Pure Blends and thought it looked like a very good product. (i have had much luck w/ almay products, they dont irritate my skin or anything like that)

i have never tried an organic makeup set before. what do you think about the almay organic line??

thanks much. How do you feel about the new Almay Pure Blends natural makeup?
Kudos for you for trying an organic line!!! Their organic line is pretty good. However, the makeup is very natural and light. So, if you want heavy coverage you might have to try someting else. Also the price is pretty steep for drugstore lines. How do you feel about the new Almay Pure Blends natural makeup?
This almay makeup is not a Professional line...Organic is great idea .some ppl are allergic to natural ingredients.Organiitc can make your skin shine and stick out.a good thing.mean more healthy.but if you are alergic to food or pollen i do not suggest it
I've never heard of that product, but anything that will help the nature is good, as long as it suites you, and you like it.
I'm not sure what I think of it but I know that they do have good make-up. So why would this one any different?

Is Physicians Formula Organic makeup ok for acne-prone skin? Should I try Almay TLC 16 hr makeup??

Ug, I don't seem to win, I have tried SOOO many makeup lines, Bare Minerals, Sheer Cover, Physicians Formula Mineral Wear, Covergirl, Maybeline, Revlon, YOU NAME IT!! I can't find anything that my acne agrees with, I currently started taking an antibiotic for my acne, but I want to make sure Im not clogging my pores. I saw PF Organic at walmart and Ive walked by this product and stared at it so many times, Im scared cause one its not oil free and two its a moisturizes so idk if ill be shiny or no! but then I saw Almay TLC 16 hr natural ingredients, oil free, hypo-aller, derm tested... Any suggestions ? Anyone try any of this products already and have feedback?? TY so much!!Is Physicians Formula Organic makeup ok for acne-prone skin? Should I try Almay TLC 16 hr makeup??
Yes, Physicians Formula Organic Wear is okay for acne-prone skin. It doesn't clog pores and doesn't make the skin oily, so it's good. I recommend this over Almay and all the other drugstore brands. I have acne-prone skin, and I thought of getting Physicians Formula Organic Wear or Bare Minerals. But I chose this and it works the same way for a cheaper price. It doesn't feel cakey or oily either. And even better...everything, the brush, container, and powder is all eco-friendly and not tested on animals. So yeah, try it and see how it works for you. Hope I helped. :)Is Physicians Formula Organic makeup ok for acne-prone skin? Should I try Almay TLC 16 hr makeup??
I absolutely love this the Made from Earth Green Tea Toxin cleanser! I had been using the AcneFree Severe Acne Treatment System however, I do not feel the system is designed for prolonged use. Recently though my break-outs were horrible and my skin was over-producing oil. I tried switching makeup a Report Abuse

Almay Pure Blends Mineral Makeup. Yes or No?

So i've heard a lot about mineral makeup, with people saying its got great coverage, lasts ages and doesnt look cakey, which is what im looking for. I find bare minerals to be to expensive for me (too young to be spending that much on foundation) but i've seen almay has a mineral foundation (http://www.almay.com/Pg/Main/CatProdDet.鈥?/a> and it looks pretty good lol. but i was wondering if anyones tryed it and what their thoughts are one the product. also can anyone give me a bit more info on mineral makeup, does it always come in the powdery form, can it be liquid, do you apply it the same as other foundations etc? please help! thanks in advance!Almay Pure Blends Mineral Makeup. Yes or No?
I have used this, and I only used it over my foundation. In all honesty the powder in it is good, but the applicator sucks. The applicator either puts too much on or not enough. Try another Almay powder! THose are always great!Almay Pure Blends Mineral Makeup. Yes or No?
I have not tried it personally, but my friend says her sisters use it and you can see the powder on their face and its icky.

But thats only what I hear.
